Arabian Explorers has been passionately showcasing and promoting the emirates for over two decades. We speak to the company’s new Managing Director Urs Stohler about his plans for the future
Based in Dubai, Arabian Explorers is a unique inbound destination management agency that sources the very best of accommodation, tours, transfers, excursions, adventures, safaris, special activities and venues for tour operators and travel agents worldwide. Be it looking after travel logistics or managing business or social events, Arabian Explorers has been a trusted partner to some of the industry’s leading names. And now its new Managing Director Urs Stohler has chalked out an aggressive expansion strategy that will steer the company in a new direction.
Mr Stohler said, “Our team of expert travel professionals, comprehensive product portfolio and extensive local network enables us to tie-up with the UAE’s premier suppliers and travel service providers to bring the ultimate products and services to our global partners at the most competitive rates. UAE continues to grow as one of the most successful and safe destinations in the world and we are eager to capitalize on our strong presence here.
“Over the years Dubai and Abu Dhabi have emerged as the preferred MICE destinations in the region, hosting large international and regional events. As the market fills up with greater choice in terms of venues and attractions, and opens up to new destinations with greater connectivity there is a need, more than ever, for a specialized DMC such as Arabian Explorers with a local know-how. Quality customer experience is key to our operation. Our objective is to provide the best quality of service to travelers visiting the destination through our local partners and strategic vendors in the region”.
Talking about emerging destinations such as China Mr Stohler said, “China definitely holds great potential for our company. We are looking at increasing our share of the market and have seen some excellent results over the last few months. We will also be targeting some other destinations but it is too early to reveal any details.”
