JW Marriott Hotel Dubai Awarded ‘Best Hotel in the Middle East’ at the North India Travel Awards 2014
At the North India Travel Awards, held on 20 December 2014 in Delhi, JW Marriott Hotel Dubai won the prestigious award of ‘The Best Hotel in the Middle East’.
JW Marriott Hotel Dubai was the first Marriott to open in Dubai on October 6, 1993 and has become an iconic hotel located in the centre of traditional Dubai, a stone’s throw away from gold and spice souks. With its tempting choice of 10 restaurants and bars, a refreshing rooftop pool and fully equipped health club with squash court, the hotel caters to many markets. Today, with the support of Indian senior management team members, the hotel has become very popular with the Indian community.
Be it the simple Indian dishes freshly prepared for The Market Place breakfast, or the authentic flavours of the kebabs and curries at the lunch and dinner buffets, Indian cuisine offered here is enjoyed by everyone.
Indian wedding bookings are increasing every year and the banquet halls are often booked several months in advance. Traditional Indian food with a modern twist is what guests look for nowadays and what the chefs flawlessly cater to.
Famous for catering for large social and sports events, concerts and private functions, ‘Events by JW’ also catered at some of the popular Indian events such as the Shah Rukh Khan concert, the IPL Cricket at Dubai and the Rajasthani cultural program ‘The Manganiyar Seduction’.
“The award is truly a testament to the team and their hard work, we are very excited to have added another prestigious award to our collection of recognitions”, General Manager Richard Collins commented.
