The Coya DNA honors both traditional and contemporary cultural offerings, ensuring that the heart of Latin American culture is symbolised with a truly authentic and rustic flair.
Be a part of the celebrations by immersing yourself in the Coya Collective and join Coya Dubai in true celebration of one of the most magical nights of the year. For the very first time, on the 25th March, Coya London, Dubai and Miami will unite in the celebration of the Equinox, and guests will be indulged in a night of fabulous Peruvian food, unbeatable Pisco Sours and 2 master DJs on the decks. Deriving from the Latin term ‘Equal night’ this magical occasion sees both the day and the night sharing equality and power.
The March Equinox has long been celebrated as a time of rebirth in the Northern Hemisphere and on this spiritual occasion, guests are encouraged to dress in gold and silver to pay tribute to both the Sun and the Moon! From Midnight expect the venue to be transformed into a glittering dance floor and enjoy performances from the live acts planned for a night of pure entertainment.
On the 19th of March, Coya Dubai will host one of the greatest Latin American painters of our time, Antonio Segui. Born in Cordoba in 1934, Antonio Segui finished his studies and set about travelling the world to broaden his artistic experience. Collecting the multiculturalism he encountered overseas, Segui relocated to Paris in the 1960s and started capturing the quintessential aura of contemporary urban culture through the form of art. His fascination with the city, its people and its pulse has been present in his work for the past three decades and contributes to much of what makes the Argentinian painter so enchanting.
His collection will be on display in Dubai during the month of March, and this will be shared between the Opera Gallery and Coya Dubai, with a special guest appearance from Antonio Segui himself at Coya Dubai on the 19th March.
With an outstanding musical program ahead, Coya Dubai embraces the art of music by inviting guests to enjoy some of the most outstanding musical contributions in the UAE. With live performances four times a week, and an exemplary line up that will be sure to impress the most eclectic of tastes, from classic Latin American sounds to a jazz saxophonist and contemporary violinist, these artists are an example of the stunning diversity that defines Coya’s DNA.
