The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beirut, Lebanon, has outsourced its visa application process to VFS Global. People who wish to apply for a visa to Cyprus can now do this at the new centrally located visa application centre managed by VFS Global. While VFS Global will accept visa applications, the Embassy will continue to assess and adjudicate all visas applications. The new Visa application centre is located at Arope Building, Verdun, Beirut.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Republic of Lebanon, HE Mr Homer A. Mavrommatis, along with Mr Ajit Alexander, COO – Middle East and Africa, VFS Global, today inaugurated the Cyprus Visa Application Centre in Beirut. Visa processing operations officially begin at this centre.
While inaugurating the centre, Ambassador HE Mr Homer A. Mavrommatis noted the satisfaction of the Cypriot side regarding the inauguration of the Cyprus Visa Application Centre that will allow, among other things, to offer services of high excellence to its applicants and future visitors. Cyprus remains, by all means, one of the most popular destinations among the Lebanese and our aim, as Embassy of Cyprus, is to further increase the incoming flows of tourists. The advantages that the Cypriot touristic product has to offer are numerous: clean beaches, safe environment, friendly people, high quality but budget resorts as well and good weather conditions throughout the year, just to name a few.

The visa application centre in Cyprus will accept applications for visas to Cyprus from applicants and travel agents residing in Beirut. The service would attract a nominal service fee, payable at the Centre at the time of submitting applications. The Centre will remain open from 0900hrsto 1600hrs for enhanced convenience to applicants and travel agents. The key features of the Centre facility include:

- Door-step delivery of passports

Business Hours: 0900hrs to 1600hrs from Monday to Friday
Acceptance of Applications (all applicants):
0900hrs to 1500hrs from Monday to Friday (Except Holidays as declared by the Embassy of Cyprus, Lebanon)
Return delivery of Applications:
1500hrs to 1600hrs from Monday to Friday (Except Holidays as declared by the Embassy of Cyprus, Lebanon)
Additional SMS/Courier/Photo/form filling charges as applicable to be borne by the applicant.
VFS Global will be responsible only for accepting and processing applications for the Embassy of Cyprus, Beirut.
Timelines for turnaround of visas are as per the discretion of the authorities.
