Alongside the city’s best foodie offerings, top-name celebrity chefs from around the globe were also in attendance to wow guests with their expert culinary techniques in the cookery school and chef’s theatre. The all-star line-up included Jean-Christophe Novelli, AtulKochhar, Andy Bates, Tim Anderson, Dhruv Baker, Jose Pizarro, Luke Thomas, and Emirati baking sensation Bader Al Awadhi.
Keeping the festival rocking across the weekend was the leading Bon Jovi tribute band Bon Jovie, who headlined the main stage on the event’s premiere night, which was also the event’s inaugural ‘Ladies Night’. Alternative soul musician Adam Baluch and local band The Boxtones also entertained the thousands of attendees who flocked to the world’s favourite al fresco food, drink and music festival.
A real highlight of the foodie festival was a surprise appearance from legendary reggae band UB40, who performed a one-off acoustic set and delighted guests in the British Airways VIP lounge.
The showpiece event ran from Thursday 12 – Saturday 14 March at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and once again proved a huge success, delighting foodie fanatics and families alike.
