Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain added another prestigious award to its growing list of achievements, winning Best Airport Hotel in the Middle East at the 2015 Skytrax World Airport Awards in Paris. It also ranks as one of the top 10 airport hotels in the world.
Established in 1999 when Skytrax launched its first global Airport Customer Satisfaction Survey, the non-profit World Airport Awards invited 13 million global travellers over a span of nine months to elect a winner. It is perceived as a global benchmark in airport and hospitality excellence.

The 2015 awards for best airport hotels were based on nominations from around 1.5 million airport hotel guests, evaluating key performance indicators in guest satisfaction. These included leisure, fitness and spa facilities, quality of food, cleanliness, comfort and accessibility to the airport, amongst others.
