The twin cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi marked the grand celebration of Onam in an ostentatious setting. India’s favourite television actors from the Association of Television and Media Artists (ATMA) in collaboration with Asiavision delivered the most memorable show for Onam with ‘Tharathilakkam’. Guests stole a glimpse of superstars like Karisma Kapoor, Prachi Misra and well followed television stars on the 7th of August.
‘Tharathilakkam’, literally translates to shining stars, and was the first of its kind Onam celebration that took place in Dubai at Al Nasr Leisureland and in Abu Dhabi at National Theatre.
The three-hour-long entertainment program extended to National Theatre in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 8th August to continue spreading the Onam cheer within UAE. ‘Tharathilakkam’ in the capital delivered its best as it brought legendary actor Jackie Shroff and Jayasoorya, a well-known figure in the Malayalam industry to boost the entertainment levels for the evening.
Commenting on the occasion, the Chairman and Managing Director of The Country Club, Mr. Y Rajeev Reddy said, “The Country Club is the soul of India because we organize various functions to celebrate festivals of different communities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of people who attend the entertainment events that are organised by The Country Club in the Middle East and make them a great success.
