In a move which emphasizes its commitment to help Yemenis ravaged by the ongoing challenge in the country, Dalma Mall – a leading lifestyle and entertainment destination in Mussafah Abu Dhabi has pledged its support to the month-long ‘Yemen We Care’ campaign currently under way in the UAE.

Dalma Mall has set up Donation Areas on the first level of the Mall. The Donation Areas, set up in close association with Emirates Red Crescent, is part of the Mall’s initiative to raise funds to support reconstruction and relief efforts in Yemen to rebuild the lives of at least 10 million Yemenis affected by the war.

 The Donation Areas within Dalma Mall is a step to facilitate members of the public, tenants, corporate partners and public as well as private institutions to contribute and support the ‘Yemen We Care’ campaign.

Mr. Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Board Member of Dalma Mall, said: “Dalma Mall is proud to be playing a part in the multi-pronged humanitarian and reconstruction campaign to help Yemenis in this time of crisis. The special Donation Areas are aimed at easing the process for donors and philanthropists from various sections of the society to contribute to the cause. This campaign is a great gesture to show solidarity with the Yemeni nationals and draws attention to the challenge and help in difficult times.”

 The UAE is leading relief efforts in Yemen with major educational, health and relief projects, which include rebuilding and refurbishing more than 150 schools, scores of hospitals and clinics in Aden.
