WAFI Fashion Week’s four-day style bonanza drew to a close after welcoming fashion enthusiasts to the mall between the 12th and 15th of October 2015. The event, which saw WAFI partner with its tenant brands to create a fashion exposition, saw key outlets in the Mall showcase their newest lines to eager audiences.

Visitors were invited to the Main Atrium Area from where they were directed to the WAFI Mall’s Eye of Horus in the Colonnade Area to partake in a festival of fashion and entertainment. WAFI Fashion Week also benefitted from a slew of influencers, social media personalities and prominent bloggers that gave talks, interacted with fashion aficionados, and posed for photo opportunities.

US-based celebrity makeup artist FIFO, known for his social media posts and videos, demonstrated makeup techniques in a live segment while also posing for photographs with audiences throughout the event. Well known beauty blogger Huda Kattan was also present, as was online influencer Taim Al Falasi, who was the guest of honour on the 14th of October. TV show host Roa’a AlSaban also put in a presence at the grand opening VVIP night on October 12th.

While M&S Kids, Smart Baby Kids and Riverwoods Kids delivered an impressive argument in favour of children’s fashion, adults were also exceptionally well catered for. WAFI Mall brands including Ginger & Lace, Sal Y Limon, Maria Pino, Al Motahajiba, Damas, DAR AL BESHOOT, Rosa Clara Bridal, The Bride Shop, Oasis Fashion, Artisan Souq Khan Murjan, Dhar Khatoon, CESARE PACIOTTI, Matalan, Riverwoods, Salam Adults and Al Motahajiba all showcased their latest collections in a buzz of creativity.

“WAFI Mall prides itself as a destination for experiences. The WAFI Fashion Week was part of the Mall’s strategy to become a hub for fashion and creativity, and attract influencers and bloggers from the street and style scene to the mall. At the same time, it gave us a chance to partner with our brands to give audiences a preview of their exciting new collections. It helped us bridge high fashion with style for everyday occasions,” said Layla Al Harmoudi, Head of WAFI Central Marketing Department, WAFI Mall.

The celebration of style trends was MCed by fashion consultant and blogger Amira Ashour, known for her Instagram presence and Street Style Dubai blog.
