The Cristal Group has announced the appointment of Roland Debs as the General Manager of Cristal Erbil Hotel. A maven hotelier with 20 years of experience across three continents, Roland spent a big part of his career at Intercontinental Hotels Group in Europe and the Middle East.

Making the announcement, Peter Blackburn, CEO of Cristal Group, said, “Roland is a seasoned hotel professional with an established track record in the industry. We are confident under his great leadership Cristal Erbil Hotel will perform at the highest level”.

Roland’s experience spans across all aspects of the hospitality industry – from hotel openings to revamping and rebranding, mounting hospitality divisions and consulting. With a multicultural exposure and personality, Roland has an outstanding ability to adapt to varied situations, cultures and challenges.

Roland is an MBA holder from the ESCP Europe (Grandes Ecoles). He also gained with honors several certificates from the Cornell University.
