Affirmed Status For Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain As It Wins Best Airport Hotel In The Middle East, Second Year In A Row
Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain’s popularity and list of achievements grow as it adds for the second year, the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Award for Best Airport Hotel in the Middle East.
Perceived as a global benchmark for airport and hospitality excellence, the Skytrax World Airport Awards was established in 1999 with its first global airport customer satisfaction survey, inviting over 13 million global travellers to elect a winner.
“I am extremely proud to be receiving this award for the hotel the second time, it is a recognition again for the consistent quality and service that we offer.”
says Hotel General Manager Daniel Kaan. “All our teams go to great lengths to ensure the satisfaction of each and every guest and we take pride in exceeding guest’s expectations on a day to day basis.”
Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax confirmed that “Having scooped the title as the Best Airport Hotel in the Middle East in 2015, the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain clearly continues to impress and satisfy it’s guests by retaining this title in 2016, this time by a considerable margin. The needs and expectations for Airport hotel guests can be very demanding, and we congratulate Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain on this fabulous achievement which is recognised by this award as the best airport hotel in the Middle East.”
The 2016 awards, as it was with the 2015 awards, were based on a property’s excellent performance in key indicators for guest and traveller satisfaction. The final list of winners was put through as nominated by 1.5 million airport hotel guests. The criteria included facilities and fitness, quality of food, cleanliness, leisure, comfort and accessibility to the airport, amongst other.
Just a two-minute walk from Bahrain International Airport, the 106-room Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain is only 15 minutes by car from the business centre of Manama. The boutique hotel overlooks the sprawling Arad Bay Lagoon, one of Bahrain’s protected areas. The hotel also features award-winning dining experiences and Rimal Spa, offering non-invasive therapies in 12 treatment rooms. The hotel values its thoughtful environmental footprint and won the award for Best Sustainable Hotel in Arabia 2015 at the International Hotel Awards.
