Stealing the limelight at the 8th edition of the 2016 Middle Eastern Caterer Awards, Hospitality by Dubai World Trade Centre took home the top accolade for ‘Events Catering Team of the Year’, capping off a successful 12 months for the company which included a number of large scale event catering including the Dubai Airshow and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Highly sought after, the award measures the performance of nominated outlets against a number of criteria including but not limited to; the management of large scale events, portfolio of high-profile external events and awareness of the key drivers of business and the industry.

With a core team of 148 chefs from 19 countries, DWTC boasts one of the most contemporary kitchen facilities in the region and last year completed an AED 8 million facility upgrade. The 3,650 square meters kitchen and the ultramodern equipment, allows for full in-house production and has been awarded the highest Dubai Municipality rating every year since opening in 2003 – only a handful of establishments have achieved this distinction.
