As part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), the region’s longest running summer extravaganza, Mercato is running a series of circus themed activities aimed at offering families and tourists an enriching shopping experience.
On Monday (25 July), the popular mall in the heart of Jumeirah, added to the shopping excitement by treating DSS visitors to the Circo Latino show that was specially staged for media personnel and their families.
With stunning Latino themed circus acts the event provided an awesome experience for DSS visitors to Mercato. This energetic Latino circus show entertained the audience with Flamenco music and fascinating acts from dancers, jugglers, contortionists, and comedians.
The fun continued after the show with children offered the chance to interact with circus performers and learn a few of their unique tricks at the Kids Circus Workshop, located on the first floor of the mall.
In addition to Circo Latino, which runs until 30 July, the mall will also host Il Circo, an Italian and European themed circus from 1 – 20 August, and roaming artistes.
Meanwhile, the ‘Shop & Win’ promotion at Mercato this DSS has received a huge response, with shoppers being enticed to participate by the range of luxury prizes on offer. Shoppers who spend AED 200 get the chance to win a dream 7 nights holiday for the whole family to the exotic island of Mauritius, or a Cadillac Escalade car or a jewellery prize worth AED 25,000.
The show at Mercato is part of the varied entertainment lined up for the DSS this year, to position the city as the summer destination of choice for visitors and families. DSS 2016 runs until 20 August under the theme ‘Own The Summer’ offering residents and visitors unbeatable deals, great events and family fun.
