Nothing says Italy quite like its food and very few capture this better than family favourite Carluccio’s. This summer, with new Executive Chef Christo Nortier at the helm, the authentic Italian café and restaurant will be launching a brand new menu; combining Carluccio’s classics and new favourites to give diners in the UAE an innovative yet traditional take on the very best Italy has to offer. Officially launched on 24th July, the menu showcases an array of signature dishes, indulgent desserts, pizzas and pastas plus a kids’ menu, all of which perfectly fit with Carluccio’s philosophy of ‘minimum fuss with maximum flavour’.

Overseeing the menu is Christo Nortier, who recently joined the Carluccio’s family as Executive Chef. A talented chef with an impressive portfolio, Christo’s career has taken him around the world, including a position as Senior Chef at Jamie’s Italian in London where he discovered a passion for Italian cuisine and ingredients. In his current role, he will be responsible for sourcing the finest Italian ingredients as well as creating new and exciting dishes for family and friends to enjoy.

Looking to bring a fresh look and taste to the existing menu, Christo has not only spiced up a few of the signatures, he has also included a couple of new soon-to-be favourites including the Seafood Skewers, Beef and Gorgonzola Salad and Provolone Fritti. The Stromboli will also be a new addition, offering an innovative take on the classic calzone pizza, twisted, folded and stuffed with a variety of cheese and roasted vegetables. Guests looking to grab lunch, whether on-the-go or in the restaurant, can relish in the selection of salads from the deli, choosing from a variety of freshly prepared options including the Tuna and Farfelle Pasta and the Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato.

Sweet tooth? Then indulge in one of the delightful desserts. The sinfully delicious Date, Nut and Honey Tart offers a base filled with sweet sticky dates and crunchy almonds, pistachios, pecans and walnuts, a dessert for the ultimate sweet tooth, whilst the Chocolate Cantucci Mousse showcases a velvety smooth feel with a biscuit crunch.
