A kebab is not just a piece of grilled minced meat…it is a historical art and science and reaches great heights of culinary brilliance when done right. That’s according to one of Dubai’s Indian cuisine gurus, Chef Gaurav Singh, Executive Chef at Zafran Indian Bistro, the award-winning contemporary Indian restaurant located at Mirdif City Centre.
With the launch of its new Kebab Specials menu, Zafran has taken the kebab and raised it to the level of an experience that is unforgettable. The menu’s wide range captures the true flavours, spices and textures that have stood the test of time with each kebab platter being created as it would have been made for the royal palates of the past. You can indulge in a variety of succulent North-West Indian delights made from the finest spice blends, marinated and grilled to perfection.
The chicken and lamb options offer specialties such as the Murgh Barrah Kabab, char-grilled tender chicken breast in a yoghurt, red chili and mustard oil marinade and the Raan-E-Zafran, tandoor roasted leg of lamb cooked in delectable Zafran spices. With exciting options such as Paneer Gulbadan, cottage cheese rolls stuffed with spinach and the Seekh Kurkuri, a medley of corn, green peas and Indian spices, also on the menu, vegetarians are in for a treat too!
Prices start at a very reasonable Dhs32 and this menu will be available from now until the end of December at Zafran in Mirdif City Centre. The 150-seat restaurant is open to guests for lunch as well as dinner from 11 am – 11 pm on weekdays and 11am – 12 am on weekends. For added convenience Zafran offers a take-out and delivery service as well.
