Robert-Jan Woltering, Regional Vice President, UAE and General Manager, Fairmont Dubai is pleased to announce the appointment of Pranav Vohra as Director of Sales and Marketing for Fairmont Dubai.

Pranav joins Fairmont Dubai from his most recent role as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Regency Dubai, bringing along a wealth of experience, spanning over 13 years in the hospitality industry in the United Arab Emirates.
Having obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Hotel Management from University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom and further an MBA in Marketing and Operations, from SP Jain School of Global Management, Dubai, Pranav began his journey in 2004 in India. He obtained extensive knowledge in front office, housekeeping, food and beverage and sales and marketing departments, in addition to the Advanced Marketing Certification, obtained from Cornell University in 2008, specialising on marketing, revenue, distribution and sales.
Furthering his career in Dubai, Pranav joined the Front Office department in 2005 within a luxury hotelgroup, where he was subsequently promoted to Sales Executive in 2006 and Senior Sales Manager in 2011. Pranav then spearheaded the corporate and leisure market as an Associate Director of Sales in 2012. A year later he was promoted to Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, being part of various mid-scale luxury hotel’ pre-opening teams until 2016.
As the new Director of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont Dubai, Vohra will carry out the responsibilities of overseeing the property’s reactive and proactive sales efforts, determining and developing marketing communication activities in conjunction with the overall brand strategy, at the company’s flagship hotel located in the heart of Dubai.
